Speaker: Richard Mould – MCIPS

Richard is currently employed as Head of Procurement for The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) which is responsible for promoting and staging the 2012 Games. He brings with him extensive experience of procurement, its governance, the negotiation and management of complex supply agreements and programmes from sourcing through to selection, management, delivery and disposal.

Prior to this he joined BAESYSTEMS in 1997 and was Procurement Executive for its Insyte company until April 2007. Amongst other roles d uring his time with BAESYSTEMS he worked for its Anglo Italian JV dealing across the UK and Italian businesses, responsible for the management of high value complex procurements from pre-bid to final delivery.

From 1989 to 1997 Richard was involved in procurement, commercial, marketing support and proposals management roles for Bombardier Aerospace, Cobham, Schlumberger and Plessey with interests in the UK, North America, Canada and the Middle East.

He lives in central London and enjoys sports and the arts.

It acts as a brokerage service between buyers throughout the London 2012 supply chain, and potential suppliers. CompeteFor also provides access to business support services; building skills and capacity to ensure that businesses across the UK can access opportunities linked to the hosting of the London 2012 Games.

CompeteFor has been developed on behalf of the English Regional Development Agencies and UK Devolved Administrations by the London Development Agency, working closely with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA).
