Jobcentre Plus – Local Employer Partnerships

10.00 - 10.30 Repeated at 15:00 - 15:30
The Meeting Room

Local Employment Partnerships

Benefit

• This is a recruitment solution you can’t afford to ignore - you get access to candidates that are ready for work, with a minimum of hassle, risk and cost. A quality service that benefits your business.

• Show your local community that you want it to thrive, that you have faith in the local workforce and that you want to provide opportunities for them.

• It is more and more common as part of procurement and tender exercises for businesses to be asked about their corporate and social responsibility policies.  Being a LEP employer would help you with this and mark you out as a business that cares about and is investing in people and local communities.

Experience

• Our experienced account managers will work with you to make sure that we really understand your business and your recruitment requirements.

• We will do all we can to find you the right candidates with the right attitude, when you need them, by giving you access to local people you might not have considered. This links to extensive work to help people return to work such as those who have health conditions or disabilities through the Pathways to Work programme.

• LEPs are not a one-hit wonder – we want this to be a proper give and take partnership that can keep on benefiting everyone for a long time to come.

Action

• To explore the ways that Local Employment Partnerships could work for your business and make a difference to your community, please contact Jobcentre Plus on lep.enq@jobcentreplus.gsi.gov.uk or through your Account Manager.
